Today I went to Epcot. I headed straight for Soarin' and got a Fast Pass. I rode the ride in the standy line. While waiting for my Fast Pass time I grab a snack at the little food place there in the Land pavilion. Rode Soarin' again and then went to Test Track. Just got back from the Magic Kingdom. We managed to catch the light parade, although we had to look over people's heads, and the fireworks. It did get some good fireworks pictures. I took them with the sports mode on my camera. We also rode the Haunted Mansion ( Read more... )

Right now I'm sitting here in my room at the Polynesian Resort. We are in the Tahiti building. It's nice because it's in a quite area at the back of the resort, but it's a good ways away from the main building. Yesterday I managed to find what I like to call a short cut. A local restaurant were my parents and I eat frequently pretty much got destroyed by a fire yesterday. My dad was there drinking coffee when the fire started. The fire started as a grease fire in the kitchen and the employees weren't able to get under control. Thankfully, no one was hurt. There's a link to the story below ( Read more... )

I've decided to make a short trip to WDW from Sept. 20-23. I'll have four days off of work from the hospital so I figured why not plan a spur of the moment trip. The Adventurers Club (and Comedy Warehouse too) will be closing on Sept. 27. I really want to visit one last time before it closes. I have so many fun memories of the AC. On this trip ( Read more... )
